The design of the Automatic window opener has a hydraulic cylinder with a liquid that reacts to temperature changes. When the temperature inside the greenhouse rises strongly, the liquid inside the cylinder expands and presses on the pusher. He, in turn, pushes the window. Conversely, as the temperature drops, the liquid contracts and pulls the plunger towards itself. Such an automatic opening of the window in the greenhouse is completely energy-independent.
Hydraulic automatic window openers have a certain inertia. It takes time to heat or cool the fluid and the hydraulic cylinder is delayed. Take this effect into account when setting the opening and closing temperatures. Use a combined ventilation system to reduce this effect. Additional forced ventilation with a solar-powered thermostatic fan will be a great addition to automatic window openers.
